Wake up to sunrise over the Hills and begin your day with a relaxing walk along the River Torrens. Explore the sites of North Terrace on your way back to the Hotel for a sumptuous breakfast. Take the Tram or a short walk to the Central Markets where you can lose yourself in the wide range of local produce and meet the faces behind the scenes. On the way back visit Haigh’s for Adelaide’s world renowned Chocolates & Sweets.
Your Perfect Afternoon
Hire a prestige Mercedes or Lexus and drive out of the city along the beautiful South Eastern Freeway and enjoy a long lunch at one of The Adelaide Hills finest restaurants - The Lane. Soak in the views and then perhaps start with a wine tasting at their Cellar Door. After lunch stroll under the Elm Trees in the picturesque German village of Hahndorf, perfect all year round.
Your Perfect Evening
Take a short walk from the hotel to the glorious Apothecary 1878 wine bar for a pre dinner drink. Then visit beautiful North Adelaide and partake in dinner at The Blanc, famous for their South Australia Seafood including King George Whiting, Prawns and Oysters. Retire for the day over an expertly created cocktail in our Atrium Lounge.
Perfect Day
After breakfast in bed, take a short 45minute drive to the Southern Vales and find yourself in the heart of one of Adelaide’s wonderful wine regions. Start off with a wine tasting at d’Arenberg in front of their cosy fire in winter or in the warmer months on their deck with spectacular views of the Vale. From here explore as few or as many wineries as you wish, as McLaren will spoil you for choice. After you’ve experienced the fine wines of this amazing region, head to the coast for fish and chips on the beach or a great lunch at Port Willunga’s renowned Star of Greece restaurant. The rustic restaurant is right on the cliff face of South Australia’s, if not Australia’s, finest beaches. Take a walk along this stunning stretch of coastline and retire back to the tiny balcony or decking for a sunset to remember.
Perfect and Picturesque
For memories to last a lifetime a visit to Kangaroo Island is a must. From its scenery to its wildlife and truly spectacular landscapes and beaches this is an experience second to none. Often referred to as the 8th wonder of the World you will never see Australian wildlife in a more natural habitat. After a short flight or ferry ride from the most southern tip of South Australia, Cape Jervis, you will immediately feel immersed in your surrounds. Nothing beats the freshest local produce served in the form of a gourmet barbeque lunch in a spectacular and remote location.
Penfolds Magill Estate
The original home of the Penfolds family and the famous Grange Bluestone Vintage Cellar is located a short 15 minute drive from the hotel. With a working winery and 60 year old vines, it is here you can take a Heritage tour, Super Premium tour or the Great Grange Tour. All tours allow you to sample some of Penfolds wonderful wines and the Heritage and Super Premium tours are accompanied by antipasto platters featuring South Australia’s best regional produce or the best regional cheeses.
Jam Factory
The Jam Factory houses studios in glass, ceramics, furniture and metal and are national leaders in contemporary craft and design. Watch artists from the viewing gallery or create your own glass masterpiece with 1 on 1 4hr workshops available.

Central Markets
The markets have evolved into an essential part of the city's cultural heritage, becoming a trading hub for growers, wholesalers & merchants. Buzzing with sounds & colours & wonderful aromas the market is truly a gourmet heaven. Why not experience a sensory and interactive gourmet walking tour to visit the stallholders, taste foods and experience the atmosphere.
North Terrace
Take a stroll down the cultural boulevard of North Terrace with its wonderful architecture and see numerous attractions from Parliament and Government house to the War Memorial, and State Library. Continuing on you will find the South Australian Museum, Art Gallery and the University of Adelaide.
Haigh’s Visitor Centre
Producing chocolates since 1915 and the oldest family owned chocolate retail manufacturer in Australia. Haighs’s Visitor Centre offers free guided tours where you can see chocolate being made, some still by hand. Tours run Monday to Saturday at 11am, 1pm and 2pm.
Adelaide Oval
Take a tour of the Famous Adelaide Oval and Bradman Museum provided by the Cricket Association expert team of tour volunteers. With literally hundreds of years of experience between them, tours run all year round Monday to Friday at 10am.
Adelaide Zoo
Approximately a 15 minute stroll along the banks of the River Torrens or a short boat ride on the Popeye you will find Adelaide’s glorious zoo. Home to Wang Wang & Funi, Australia's only panda bears. Other exhibits include the South East Asian Rainforest of the Sumatran tigers, Children's Zoo & Seal bay.
Dolphin swim or watch
Located at Holdfast Shores, a luxury purpose built sailing catamaran will take you to see the friendly dolphins. Whether you want to swim or stay on the boat and watch, the cruise has a 100% success rate of seeing these beautiful creatures and is a great way to spend the morning.
