Morning
Start your day with a full InterContinental buffet breakfast or à la carte menu at Riverside Restaurant, offering stunning views and seasonal fare.
After breakfast, take a stroll through Adelaide’s charming laneways or hop on the free tram to the Adelaide Central Market. With over 70 traders under one roof, this is one of the largest undercover fresh produce markets in the Southern Hemisphere – buzzing with life and colour year-round.
You can explore the market at your own pace or enjoy the free 50-minute audio tour, sampling fresh local
produce along the way.

Afternoon
After your market adventure, wander through Rundle Mall, Adelaide’s premier shopping precinct. Be sure to visit Adelaide Arcade, a beautifully preserved 19th century shopping arcade opened in 1885. Featuring elegant Victorian architecture, a glass-domed roof, intricate mosaic floors, and ornate balconies, it’s home to boutique retailers, specialty shops, and even a small museum. A perfect place to shop, explore, or simply enjoy a coffee steeped in history.
Continue to the end of Rundle Street and turn left to enter the tranquil Adelaide Botanic Garden for a peaceful afternoon stroll. From there, head back along North Terrace and explore some of the city’s cultural gems – the Art Gallery of South Australia, the South Australian Museum, or the State Library of South Australia, where the iconic Mortlock Wing is a must-see.

Evening
Conclude your perfect winter day with dinner at Shiki, the hotel’s signature restaurant located in the upper lobby. Shiki is celebrated for its authentic Japanese cuisine – particularly teppanyaki, where expert chefs prepare your meal live at the grill. The menu includes sushi, sashimi, tempura, and premium wagyu beef, all crafted with seasonal ingredients and traditional techniques.
