Your choice guides your WSET-trained expert in curating visits to premium, boutique wineries that best showcase each region’s character.

Curated Wine Tastings & Boutique Cellar Doors

Your itinerary features 3–4 winery visits, tailored by a WSET-trained (Level 2) guide based on your preferences. Expect premium tastings, behind-the-scenes insights, and opportunities to meet local winemakers who bring each vintage to life.

FAQs about Vineyard Voyage

Which wineries are included on the tour?

Our wine tour partners, Cellar Door Tours, will enquire with you to pick 3-4 wineries based on your preferences. If you have a specific winery in mind, that can be incorporated in the itinerary.

Is lunch provided during the McLaren Vale wine tour?

A complimentary shared gourmet platter of artisan cheeses, charcuterie and fresh local produce will be offered to guest at midday.

Can the wine tour be customised?

Within 24 hours of your booking, Cellar Door Tours will reach out to personalise your experience. You can select McLaren Vale or the Barossa Valley, and if you’re unsure, the team will recommend the most suitable region for the season to ensure the best possible day.

Is it possible to visit both regions?

No. As the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale are in opposite directions and quite some distance apart, the tour can only cover one region in a day. We ask guests to confirm their preferred region after booking, as last-minute changes cannot be accommodated.

Does the tour include pickup and drop-off?

It is a full day tour, with pick up from the hotel between 9:00am to 9:15am and return transfer by 5:30pm in a luxurious Mercedes Benz or Volkswagen vehicle shared with 2-10 guests.

Terms and Conditions:

• This exclusive package requires a minimum two-night stay at InterContinental Adelaide.
• A full upfront payment is necessary to secure your reservation.
• Once booked, this package is non-refundable and cannot be modified or cancelled.
• The wine tour must be reserved at least 7 days prior to the arrival date.
• By booking this package, you authorise us to share your details with our trusted third-party tour operator, Cellar Door Tours, to facilitate your experience. Cellar Door Tours will contact you within 24 hours of booking to curate the tour itinerary.
• Guests must confirm their preferred region with the Cellar Door Tours team member soon after booking so the itinerary can be arranged.
• Due to scheduling and winery arrangements, changes to the selected region cannot be accommodated on the day of the tour.
• To ensure a safe and comfortable journey, alcohol consumption is not permitted inside the tour vehicle.
• All guests participating in wine tastings must be 18 years or older. Maximum guests per booking are 2 Adults.
• The package includes complimentary wine tastings and a gourmet lunch platter at a premium vineyard estate. Any additional purchases, such as bottles of wine or food, are at the guest’s expense.
• Tours operate in all weather conditions. We recommend wearing comfortable footwear for the experience.
