Discover a night of fire, flavour and precision with Omakase in Motion, an exclusive one-night dining experience at Shiki Japanese Restaurant, created especially for Tasting Australia 2026.

This immersive three-hour teppanyaki journey invites guests to move through six live cooking stations, where Shiki’s master chefs bring their craft to life. From wagyu expertly flambéed to premium seafood grilled with finesse, each moment unfolds as a live culinary performance.

The evening reaches its pinnacle at a dedicated sashimi station presented by our partners, Kin Tuna, offering a rare insight into the art of Japanese knife mastery. Three hours of free-flowing sake, spirits and South Australian wines complete the experience, uniting theatre, seasonality and craftsmanship in a way unique to Tasting Australia.

Guided by Shiki’s philosophy of time, place and seasonality, Omakase in Motion is a celebration of South Australia’s finest produce and the people behind it.
